My husband and I went on a RV Road Trip along the coast of California, Oregon, and Washington recently. We visited the Farmers Market @ Pike's Place in Seattle and I fell in love. The market was filled with beautiful flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, and all the seafood you could want. The prices were good and everything was so fresh. I'm now a fan of everything about farmers markets. I came home and made a list of all the markets in our local area for future shopping trips.
I also found out one of my girlfriends has started to have a box of fresh food delivered to her each week from our local farm. She then makes a menu based on the items in season and posts it to her blog. I've attached the link in case you want to check it out to see what ideas she is coming up with.
