Pinterest Recipes

One of my greatest passions is now "pinning" on Pinterest !

Pinterest is basically visual boards that you create electronically.  No more having to buy every magazine in the world to cut up and store the ideas.   Instead, the big wide web has become your magazine of life.  You can pin ideas from blogs, sites, etc...  to keep for future use or just inspiration.

In fact, Pinterest has become my electronic recipe book.   If you double click on the pictures on my Pinterest boards, it will take you directly to the internet site that has the recipe.   What could be better?!

So, if you are a foodie like myself, check out my page to get some recipe ideas.   If you join (it's free, you just ask for an invite), and subscribe to me, then you will be rewarded with updates every time I add more to my collection.   Check out My Pinterest Here !

I'm sure you will love it as much as I do.

Chicken Enchilada Soup

I've decided to make this blog specific to food I've attempted to made instead of combining blogs.    However, I did post a soup (Chicken Enchilada Soup) prior to making this decision on my other blog and don't want to transfer all the pictures.

This soup was similiar to the soup @ the restaurant, Chilis.  Not sure if you have ever had it, but it is certainly worth trying once.  I know you will be a fan soon after :-)

Here is my finished product below:

This soup was so good, I made enough to take in my lunch to work every day that week.  I can honestly say it tasted better each and every day as the flavors blended.

Here is the link to the recipe and a few pictures I took:  Happiness from the Inside Out ~ Soup Blog

Enjoy !

Oreo Balls

I wanted to make something delicious for my employees @ work tomorrow.  So, I went to the one place I knew that I could find great recipes.   Yes, Pinterest it was.   If you are interested in knowing more about my Pinterest boards, you can click on the link to the right over there which will take you to Pinterest.    I have lots and lots of recipes...

I decided on the "Oreo Balls" since they looked really easy to do.   This is how they are supposed to look when you are finished.  Mine were a bit lopsided but tasted just as good I am sure.   Next time I make them I am going for beauty and perfection ... No lopsided nonsense for me ;-)   Give it a try... Tell me what you think.

Farmer's Market

My husband and I went on a RV Road Trip along the coast of California, Oregon, and Washington recently.   We visited the Farmers Market @ Pike's Place in Seattle and I fell in love.  The market was filled with beautiful flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, and all the seafood you could want.  The prices were good and everything was so fresh.  I'm now a fan of everything about farmers markets.  I came home and made a list of all the markets in our local area for future shopping trips.

I also found out one of my girlfriends has started to have a box of fresh food delivered to her each week from our local farm.  She then makes a menu based on the items in season and posts it to her blog.  I've attached the link in case you want to check it out to see what ideas she is coming up with.   The Neat Doctor.
